She is a certified clinical hypnotherapist and doctor of Behavioral Science. She is a certified member of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. She was formerly a member of the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, the National League of Medical Hypnotherapists, the International Hypnosis Federation, the American Board of Hypnotherapy and the National Guild of Hypnotists. She remains a Board member and Chair of the Conference and Events group of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners.
