Often clients arrive with stories of shame, hurt, guilt, trauma, and disempowerment. We can show them, through re-framing, and change of perspective, how to “re-write” these stories, in order to be more empowered to make change, and take charge of our emotional and physical health. We will examine the elements of a good therapeutic story, how to construct one, and how to maximize by varying tonality, volume and inflection. Examples of healing metaphors and trance fables will be given.
